Israeli Poet Yael S. Hacohen Publishes a Collection of War Poetry, titled "The Dove That Didn't Return"
Some poets are able to paint more vivid pictures than reality with their words and Israeli Poet Yael S. Hacohen is one of the prime examples. This post is also a female commander in the Israeli Defense Force who has recently published a book of war poems, named "The Dove That Didn't Return". The poignancy and terror of war which is already present in the title is further poetically explained through this whole book. Hacohen has creatively utilized the verses and stories of biblical references to offer a vision of a warrior as well as a woman of war.
